An Ivory Coast import who became an Azam FC member at the start of 2011/ season from Ivory Coast
Kipre, a short but powerful forward caught eyes of Azam technical team during the East and Central Africa – CECAFA Challenge cup in December 2010 where he netted in almost every game he played in. Ivory Coast’s U-23 took part in the tournament as a gust team along with Zambia.
Though his coach the used him as a second halves substitute, Kipre acted as savior to his team by seeing the back of the net in every match except in the final match where they succumbed to a 1-0 defeat in the hands of hosts Tanzanian.
Then Azam though he could add value to the team by reinforcing the striking part.
Kipre’s physical strength and pace has always caused troubles to the opposite teams as most of defenders have struggled to cope up with his speed as well as appropriate movements in front of a goal.
Some how he is supposed to be patient before he completely adapt to new playing environment and the league itself.
But one positive thing is that at the age 22 he remains a glittering asset with a shining future.
